Charity was important to Leslie and he devoted time to helping others in need. He was also a champion diver, gymnast and dabbled in Judo. Leslie loved classical music and live concerts and would often be listening to Scheherazade on his headphones. Being a man of faith, he could be seen in the back row of Saint Rose’s Parish on the west side every Sunday. He could also be seen at Tim Hortons every morning thoroughly enjoying coffee with his family and friends. Leslie’s life was devoted to his loving late wife Corinne, his dearest cousin Allie Kane and family. Leslie is survived by his children: Keith Mackie (the late Margaret Gionet), Allie Kakulas (Evan) and Patrick Mackie (Lisa); his beloved grandchildren, Michael (Tamara), Robin, Alexandra, Gillian, Corinne and Herky; great-grandchildren, Lucien, Mikayla, Melody, Keith and Courtney; three great-great-grandchildren, Brynn, Jayce and Kara; a brother, Edward Mackie (Barb); as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
