Obituary of Wanda Rae Moyer
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wanda Moyer, wife of Charles Moyer, announces her passing, which occurred on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with her family by her side. Born on August 6, 1942 in Saint John, she was a daughter to the late Lloyd and Jean (Garnett) Bennett. Wanda was a woman of faith. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of being an avid reader and challenging her mind while playing Scrabble and completing crossword puzzles. She never missed her coffee dates in Market Square with her friends. Above all, Wanda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending her time with her family. Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Charles, their daughters: Sheri (Tim) Neilson, Cindy Moyer (Bob Arseneault) and Laurie Moyer, her grandchildren: Joseph and Haley Neilson and Alex Arseneault, her siblings: Ruth (Paul) O’Donnell, Eric (Wende), Lawrence (Claire), Raymond (Connie) and Rick (Bonnie), along with many nieces, nephews and members of her extended family. Besides her parents, Wanda was predeceased by her brother Danny Bennett. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint Joh, NB (634-7424) where visitation is being held on Tuesday, November 28 from 2-4 and 6-8. A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, November 29 at 2 PM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
