Obituary of Nora Lorraine Stewart
It is with deep sadness that the family of Nora Lorraine (Craig) Stewart announces her passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, November 27, 2017, surrounded by her family. Born in Saint John on February 8, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Louise (Hanson) Craig. Nora loved to hold babies, and make all children around her happy. She loved to camp and travel while spending time with family. She loved a good deal; shopping was a sport to her. Nora loved to buy birthday gifts for all her babies, so she could see them smile. She told you how it was, whether you wanted to hear her advice or not, just because she loved you. She will be missed by her loving husband of 59 years, Lloyd Stewart; her children: Pamela Stewart, Sharon Nurse, Gail Martin (Reid), Carol Hannan (Al Luna), Michael Stewart (Star) and Brian Stewart (June); twenty one grandchildren; fifty four great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandson; brother, Ralph Craig and sister, Marie McKelvie; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nora was predeceased by her brother Ronald Hanson. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Nora’s life will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
