Obituary of Ronald Roy
It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald “Ronnie” Roy announces his passing which occurred at his home on Friday, October 3, 2025. Born in Saint John, NB on November 19, 1961, he was a son of Stella (Richard) Roy and the late Alphee Roy.
He was very fond of his grandson and had a big heart. Ronnie loved Tim Hortons, and you could often spot him riding his bike through the North End of Saint John, collecting bottles.
In addition to his mother, Ronnie leaves behind his son, Kevin Kilpatrick (Tabatha); siblings, Leonard Roy (Lorena), Bernice Lebouthillier (Laurie), Laurie Roy, Charlene Bovaird (Donald); grandson, Kevin Kilpatrick Jr; as well as several friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins; Ronnie was predeceased by his father, Alphee Roy.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, followed by a reception featuring Ronnie’s favourite foods and snacks. Donations in memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Diabetes Canada.
