Obituary of Roy Cleal
It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Cleal announce his passing which occurred on March 7, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on July 25, 1935, he was a son of the late John and Isabelle (Moore) Cleal.
Roy worked for many years at the Atlantic Sugar Refinery in Saint John while ending his working career with the Corps of Commissionaires. He was a quiet, hardworking man known throughout the city for his dart playing skills. Roy also enjoyed socializing with his friends at the Buffalo Club. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
Roy is survived by his daughters, Wendy and Melody ; sister Marjorie Sherlock; nieces; Trudy Baxter (Wayne), Starla Logan and Tammy Mazerolle; nephew, Shawn Greenlaw as well as his extended family.
In addition to his parents, Roy was predeceased by his siblings: Leo, Theresa and Herb and his wife, Nancy.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Respecting Roy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
