Obituary of Lewis Herbert Freedman

Passed away in Toronto on March 22, 2018 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late H. Ita Freedman. Loving father and father-in-law of Mary Ann and Billy Hitzig, John and Cathi Freedman and Robert and Pam Freedman. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marcia and the late Jerry Koven, Edythe and Barry Steinberg and the late Bernie and Natalie Freedman. Devoted grandfather of Nancy Hitzig, Warren Hitzig, Sander Hitzig (Dafna), Benjamin Freedman (Aubrey), Elisabeth Demone (Marc), Carolyn Freedman (Jon), David Freedman, Max Freedman, Kyla Freedman and eight great-grandchildren. Long time physician and community leader, Dr. Freedman devoted his life to his family and the community. Funeral will be on Sunday, March 25 at 2:00 PM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB. Shiva at 10 Delisle Avenue, Toronto, beginning March 26.
