Obituary of Lillian Theresa Stafford

It is with sadness and fond memories that the family of Lillian Theresa "Honey" Stafford, wife of the late J. Harold Stafford, announces her passing, which occurred on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Born on January 2, 1925 in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Louella (Quinlan) Mackin. Lillian was a member CWL, The League of Sacred Heart, Promoter, and The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal. She taught Religious Education for seventeen years. Lillian is survived by her brothers: Gregory and Bernard along with several nephews and nieces. Besides her husband and parents, Lillian was predeceased by brothers: William, Gerard, Paul, and Joseph and sister, Margaret Dalton. Arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 1:00 - 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 9:00 am. Donations in Lillian’s memory made to Cathedral Restoration and Waterloo Village Revitalization Projects would be appreciated by her family.
