Obituary of Duncan Alexander Horne

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Duncan A. Horne, husband of the late Helen (Cross) Horne, announces his passing, which occurred on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Moose Factory Township, ON on August 28, 1956, he was a son of the late William and Zena (Bell) Horne. Duncan will be missed by his sons, Jeff and Murray Horne; his wife, Ruth Smith; his sisters, Mary O’Donnell (the late Ruaidhrí ) and Willena "Billie" Horne; sister-in-law, Meg Horne; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Duncan was predeceased by a brother, Murray Horne. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). At Duncan’s request, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada or a charity of the donor’s choice.
