Obituary of Donald E. Snodgrass
The death of Mr. Donald E. Snodgrass, of 29 McKay Street, Saint John, husband of Ardith (Deuville) Snodgrass, occurred on Monday, October 28, 2002, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Charles and Estella (Sinnette) Snodgrass. Mr. Snodgrass was employed with the International Longshoreman's Association for over 36 years, before his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, Donald (Debbie) of Saint John, Douglas (Stacey) of Saint John, David (Bonnie) of Rothesay, Danny (Cindy) of Ontario and Darren (Debbie) of Rothesay, one daughter, Debbie Alberts (Don) of Saint John, two brothers, Howard of Saint John and Wilfred of Welsford, one sister, Marion Pridham of Vancouver, BC, 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Edwin and one sister, Winnifred. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 31, 2002 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
