Obituary of Frank James Stafford
The death of Mr. Frank James Stafford of Kennebec Manor, Saint John, husband of Mary (O'Leary) Stafford, occurred on Monday, January 6, 2003, at his residence. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late George and Lucy (McBrien) Stafford. Mr. Stafford was employed with CPR for many years and retired as foreman of Bay Service. He was a member of the Railroad Union, enjoyed sailing and trailering, and was a member of St. Pius X Parish. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Donald J. Stafford (Georgina) , one daughter, Jean Burns (John) both of Saint John, grandchildren, Paula Burns, Debbie, Natalie, Sandy, Paulette, Amy, Katie, Patrick and Nathan, three great grandchildren, Tiana, Allison and Emily and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and George. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Thursday, January 9, 2003, at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery in the spring. Remembrances to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family. www.brenansfh.com
