Obituary of Charles Laszlo Kecskes
After a courageous battle with cancer the death of Charles Laszlo Kecskes of Red Head Road, beloved husband of Maria (Koti) Kecskes, occurred on Friday, December 27, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Balassagyarmat, Hungary he was the son of the late Karoly and Margit (Lehoczky) Kecskes. Charles was employed with Canada Packers until his retirement in 1985. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter Lisa Kecskes of Saint John, one step-daughter Emma (Raymond) Beale of Saint John, three step-sons Joseph (Julie) Foldi of Victoria, BC, Les (Evelyn) Foldi, Stephen (Sue) Foldi both of Saint John, one sister Julia Kecskes, three brothers-in-law Joe, Danny and Mike, one sister-in-law Mary, four grandchildren Cody, Angelina, Chelsea, Madison, seven step-grandchildren Les (Amanda), Joey, Mark, Coralee, Shelley, Lesley and Nicole. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one grandson Ronald Evans, one great - grandson Jacob Belyea and one sister-in-law Eva Koty. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday, December 30, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 31, 2002 from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 12:00 noon. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or the Cathedral Building Fund. www.brenansfh.com
