Obituary of Catherine M. Murray
The death of Mrs. Catherine M. (Gorman) Murray, wife of the late Gerard J. Murray, of Saint John, NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, December 11, 2002. Daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Kean) Gorman, she was born in Saint John, NB. Catherine was a member of St. Peter's Church and the CWL. She is survived by two sons; Peter (Janice) Murray of Saint John, and Thomas (Margaret) Murray of Halifax, NS, three daughters; Mary Coventry (Kerwood), Sault Ste Marie, ONT, Patricia Murray (Gerald Donovan), of Quispamsis, NB and Christine Murray (David Wilson) of Saint John, NB, one brother, Harry Gorman of Chicago, Il, one sister, Theresa (Byron) Phelan, of Saint John, NB, one sister-in-law Irene Kayden of Indiana, twelve grandchildren, Christopher, Steven, Kathleen Coventry, Catherine Little, Jennifer and Suzanne Robertson, Meagan and Matthew Donovan, Jessica, Adam and Andrew Murray and Allison Murray, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by three brothers; Brother Gerard (O.F.M.), Walter and Donald, one sister; Sister Lois Gorman (SCIC). Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peters Church, Clarendon St., Saint John North on Saturday December 14, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
