Obituary of Kathleen Mary Hodd

The death of Kathleen Mary Hodd of Davenport Avenue, Saint John, wife of William Hodd, occurred on Monday, December 23, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of Gordon Power of Saint John and the late Bertha (Martin) Power. Besides her husband and father, she is survived by one son, James Dean Golden of Saint John, three daughters, Kimberly Ann Tupper (Rob) of Minnesota, Janice Lee MacKinnon (Roger) of PEI and Christine Marie Fuerniss (Kurt) of Saint John, five brothers, Clifford Power, Bill Power, Stephen Power all of Saint John, George Power of Ontario and Tony Power of Saint John, one sister, Carol Defazio of Saint John, 8 grandchildren, Meghan and Logan Tupper, Katherine, Bradley, Jennifer and Caitlin MacKinnon, Chelsea Golden and Walter Fuerniss, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Michael Power. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, December 27, 2002, at 10:00 AM. Following cremation, interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery in the spring.
