Obituary of Trevor Binding
The death of Trevor (Tex) Binding, husband of Alice (Green) Binding, occurred on October 20, 2002, at St. Joesph's Hospital. Born at Cardiff Wales he was the son of the late Walter and Alice (Herbert) Binding. He was a WW II veteran having served with the Royal Navy as Chief Petty Officer. He was employed as an electrician with Saint John Ship Building Ltd. for over 36 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2 and was an avid dart player. He is survived by his daughters Cherri and her husband Barry Belyea of Quispamsis, Carole and her husband Keith Bovaird of Havelock,ON, his step-daughter Bette Cardoza of Saint John, his six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Burt, George, Walter and William and his sister Irene. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2002, at 2:00 PM, from Portland United Church. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
