Obituary of C. Edna Sharp
The death of C. Edna (Crawford) Sharp, last surviving member of her immediate family, of Ellerdale Street formerly of Sussex, NB, wife of Laurence Sharp of Sussex, occurred on October 15, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 4, 1914 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Letitia (Kilpatrick) Crawford. C. Edna had resided and worked in Ontario for many years before returning to Saint John in 1981. She is survived by one sister-in-law Hilda Crawford, three nephews Thomas Lees, Michael Crawford and Sandy Crawford, one niece Dolores Goguen, one step daughter Naida Heans, two step-grandsons Larry Heans and Allan Heans, several cousins, special care giver Millie and will be sadly missed by her many friends at the Loch Lomond Villa. Besides her parents she is predeceased by one brother Joseph Crawford, one sister Audrey Lees. By request there will be no visiting. A memorial service will be celebrated on Thursday, October 17, 2002 at the Loch Lomond Villa Chapel at 2:00 PM. Following cremation interment in Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation or the S.P.C.A. Arrangements are under the direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424).
