Obituary of Annie Marguerite McGrath
The death of Mrs. Annie Marguerite (McMackin) McGrath of Saint John, NB, wife of the late James "Jim" McGrath, occurred on Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Springhill, NB, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Campbell) McMackin. She was Baptist by faith. Annie is survived by two sons, James (Shirley) of Windsor, ON, and Allen (Carol) of Saint John, one daughter, Lillian Bennett of Saint John, one brother, Harold McMackin of Windsor, ON, one sister, Sadie Wisted of Saint John, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim, her parents, and a daughter, Marie Ann.. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2002 at 2:00 PM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
