Obituary of Isabelle Beatrice Muir
The death of Mrs. Isabelle Beatrice Muir, of Kennebec Manor Nursing Home, wife of the late David B. Muir, occurred in her 94th year, on Saturday, March 29, 2003, at her residence. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late William and Ida (McKillop) Rackley. Mrs. Muir was a lifelong resident of Saint John and was an active member of Calvary Temple Church. She is survived by one son, Francis (Shirley) of Saint John, two daughters, Carol Swain (John) and Shirley Williams (Don) both of Saint John, daughter-in-law, Betty Muir, of Saint John, one sister, Rita Blizzard of Saint John, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Gerald Muir, one daughter, Ida Usher, one grand-daughter, Betty Walls, brothers, Frank, Buster, Willie and Blair Rackley and one sister, Ethel Hargrove. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
