Obituary of M. Connolly
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marjorie "Jean" Connolly announce her passing on August 15, 2018 at the Sussex Health Center. Born in North Esk NB on November 25, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Rose (Tozer) Mullin.
Jean worked at Sterling Electric following high school. After marriage she stayed home to raise her three children, then re-entered the workforce at Eatons Canada for many years.
She enjoyed bowling, knitting, reading and singing. She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church and Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Camillus "Cam" and son Terry a number of years ago.
Jean will be missed by her daughters, Kimberley Cannon (Clive) of Fredericton and Beth Flewelling (Bill) of Sussex; sister, Eleanor DiCandia of New Jersey; grandchildren, Tara Harris (Keith), Michael Cannon, Craig Cannon (Kas) and Christie Nason (Joe); great-grandsons, Dylan Fogarty, Jacob Cannon, Brayden Nason and Cooper Cannon.
In addition to her husband, parents and son Jean was also predeceased by her brother, Vernon and sisters, Phyllis, Roma, Avis and Donna.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday August 19, 2018 from 4-7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 2 PM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances in Jean’s memory may be made to Tabernacle United Baptist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice. WWW.BrenansFH.com.
