Obituary of Cheryl Ann Price

The death of Cheryl Ann Price of Saint John occurred on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 21, 1945 in Summerside, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Edna (Poirier) Coates. Cheryl dedicated her life to nursing, a career she truly enjoyed and where many friendships were made. She was extremely proud of her 50 years in the health industry and retired from Kennebec Manor. Cheryl is survived by her children, Krista Heans (Peter) of Rothesay and Philip Price of Belleisle; brother, Chris Coates (Cindy) of British Colombia; sisters, Andrea Mallory (Paul) and Cindy Coates all of Sussex; cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Philip Jr., Christopher and Matthew; several nieces and nephews; as well as many special friends and co-workers at Kennebec Manor. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by one of her close friends, Linda Robichaud. In keeping with Cheryl’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
