I met Bud years ago at the home of my parents...Floyd and Nora Oliver. He was a great guy and a wonderful story teller. I always enjoyed the time I spent in his company. R.I.P. Bud.
So sorry to hear of Buddy's passing. I always loved to see Buddy come into our office. He was always so cheerful & had many stories to tell. He used to bring us dulse & little Christmas mouse ornaments that he told us he made... we sometimes doubted that because they were so cute & well done. We will miss his big booming voice as well as the stories from Grand Manan and the North end of Saint John. RIP Buddy!
we were friends for a long time buddy was quite a character we shared a lot good times and laughed a lot did not get to see him as much because we moved to the mainland i will not forget him
Buddy will be missed by us. I(Bonny) grew up in Seal Cove so have know Buddy all my life and we shared the same birth date (Aug 15) .Ebbie has done many jobs for Buddy over the years and will miss him also. So sorry for your loss. My memories of Buddy are of a larger than life personality, friendly, well-liked, a quick smile and sense of humor and a mischief twinkle in his eye. May your warm memories of Bud comfort you in the days ahead.
I often crossed paths with Buddy over the years.Especally when we worked on the island. I always found him to be an interesting and nice person whom I counted as a friend.I was saddened to hear of his death. My sympathy to the family. Hazen W. McLean
I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Buddy was a great man, and he will be missed dearly by all. He touched so many people's lives. Men like him made Grand Manan a special place to grow up. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
