Obituary of Jordyn Olivia Godin-Doyle
Surrounded by the love of her parents, Jordyn "J-Star" Godin-Doyle passed peacefully into the arms of the angels to go to Heaven on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 22, 2012, she was the beloved daughter of Joanna Godin and Michael Doyle.
J-Star was a caring, generous, fun-loving, social butterfly, and she was always at her happiest around people. She loved music and dancing, sports – especially skating, swimming and soccer; she enjoyed making arts and crafts, fishing, going to the movies and the arcade, and telling jokes or playing pranks on people. No matter how she was feeling, she was always praying for others, or trying to make them feel better. She will be missed deeply by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, J-Star will be missed by her little brother, Alexander "Brosif"; her dog, Bailey; her grandmothers, Sandra Godin (Bob) and Wendy Maillet (Mark), grandfather, Terry Doyle (Ellen); great-grandparents, Margaret Godin and Joe Maillet; Aunty Tab (Jeff) and their children, Emma, Cohen and Mason; Uncle Chris (Natasha) and their children, Apollo and Delilah.
She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Bruce Logan and Bob Cummings.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 6-8 pm, and Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 12:00 pm from Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 360 Dufferin Row, Saint John.
