Obituary of Constance Marie Grant

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Constance "Connie" Marie (Jones) Grant, wife of the late George W. Grant announce her passing, which occurred on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 10, 1925 in Hainesville, NB, she was a daughter of Randolph and Grace (Steeves) Jones. Connie lived her life for her family and her faith. If you knew her you loved her. She journeyed through live caring for anyone God put in her path, which was demonstrated by her years of work at the Dr. Roberts Hospital School. She is survived by her children: George (Nancy), Richard (Jo-Anne), William "Willi" (Marie), Conrad and John; grandchildren: Kim, George, Rick, Dawn, Jeremy, Allister, Adam, Amber, Gillian, Harrison and Meaghan; several great-grandchildren; siblings: Iva (Reid), Viola, Marion, Reginald (Cheryl), Harry (Catherine), Winston (Carol); sister-in-law, Julia; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was also predeceased by her daughter, Sharon Hardy (Jean Guy) and siblings: Russell, Stanley, Margaret, Hazen, Carl, Hubert and Phillip. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday, November 8, 2018 and Friday, November 9, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in the Wickham Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to The Joshua Group (A faith-based charity serving children in the Greater Saint John area).
