Obituary of Elizabeth Alva May Henderson

Henderson, Elizabeth A. M. – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Elizabeth "Betty" Alva May (Briggs) Henderson wife of the late Alfred David Henderson which occurred on November 15, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Vaughan and Beatrice (Stickney) Briggs. She was employed by Baxter Dairies in the office until her retirement. She is survived by son: David Henderson of Saint John; daughters: Deborah Ann McCaig of Brandon, Mary Vicars (Brian) of Saint John; Brenda Holmes (Gerry) of Hampton; sister: Dorothy McEachern of Kingston, ON; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; special uncle: Ken Briggs; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by sister: Marion Amero. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated following the visiting on Monday at 12 noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
