Obituary of William George Touchakis
It is with heavy hearts that the family of William "Bill" Touchakis, announces his passing which occurred on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born on May 1, 1950, he was a son of the late George and Dorothy (Carr) Touchakis.
Bill was employed with Electrolux for 23 years and was most recognizable by his smile. He was a huge fan of WWE Wrestling and Elvis"The King". Bill was also a man of strong faith with even stronger values and will be missed by all who knew him.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his sons: Andrew (Anna Maria Scichilone-Touchakis) and Stephen (Nicky), his grandson Hayden, siblings: Anna Cawley and Alex Touhakis, nephew George Touhakis, niece Emily (Marc) Arsenault and their daughter Amanda, and sister-in-law Sandra Straight.
Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his son Michael, brother Christopher and niece Christina.
A special "Thank You" to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit-3BN for the care and compassion they provided during Bill’s stay. Also to Pastor Shawn Holmes for his spiritual guidance during this difficult time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6 from 2-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, December 7 at 2 PM with interment to follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
