Dear Janet and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Gerry on a Presbytery Committee quite a few years ago and he was such a bright light, always energetic, optimistic and willing to make things happen. What a wonderful role model and inspiration! That charisma and effervescence is characteristic of his children, too. May his love for you all and his life well lived be a comfort at this sad time. Much love, Claire

Our condolences to Gerry's family. We were saddened to learn of his passing. We so enjoyed running into Gerry at the Irving Nature park during one of his frequent walks - waiting patiently to snap a picture of wildlife. We marvelled at his resilience and determination; aspiring to be as ambitious and energetic as he was. I first got to know Gerry many years ago through our mutual work with Saint John's senior citizen population of which he was a great advocate. He will be missed.

Dear Family, Please accept my condolences on Gerry's death. When I did Pastoral Care at the hospitals and they were patients, I visited them often. They lived for many years in the same apartment my Mum and Dad lived in at the Complex. Gerry contributed to the social lives of many seniors. He will be missed

Romans 14:8 If we live, we live for the LORD; and if we die, we die for the LORD. So whether we live, or whether we die we belong to the LORD. Gerry and I talked about this many times and he knew, deep in his heart, that he was a part of the HOLY ONE... the unknowable - yet knowable. Gerry had a faith that is seldom known or easily expressed but he let his faith be known in oh!, so many ways. He was loved and he will be deeply missed. Until we meet again my old friend. hugs, chris

To the Family of Gerry's I want you to know how much his passing has affected all the board members of the Loyalist Zone and New Brunswick Senior Federation of New Brunswick. I have known Gerry for nine years and cannot believe what a wealth of information he had when it came to Seniors and Seniors care. Gerry always had my back at the Zone level and The Federation level. If I needed help with preparing reports etc Gerry was always there for me. Gerry you will be missed dearly. To the family our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you.
