Obituary of Allison Irma Perry
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Allison Perry, spouse to the late William Boyce Sr., announces her passing, which occurred on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Kings Way Care Centre. Born on July 12, 1923 in Rossway, Digby County, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Hilda (Peters) Morehouse.
Allison was a woman of faith. She was a member of Kings Church and spent several years volunteering her time in the office. Allison was employed with WorkSafeNB as payroll clerk for 26 years. Allison loved to knit and sing. She had a real knack for sending someone a card or gift when they needed it the most.
Allison will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Ruth (Craig) Logan, grandsons "her boys" : Kyle (Emily), Trent and Shane (Corrine Donovan), her siblings: David (Ellen) Morehouse, Ruth Fitt, Jean Morehouse and sister-in-law Mae Morehouse, along with many nieces, nephews and members of her extended family.
Besides her parents, and spouse William Boyce Sr, Allison was predeceased by her brothers: Donald (Elly) and Leigh Morehouse, brother-in-law Charles Fitt and sister-in-law Nada Morehouse.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 8 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, January 9 at 12 Noon in Brenan’s Chapel.
