Obituary of Beamish Whittaker

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stanley Joseph David Whittaker "Beamish" announces his passing, which occurred on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on January 2, 1977, he was a son of Barbara Edison and the late Stanley Whittaker. Beamish had a strong personality that drew people to him. He loved debating, especially political topics, and enjoyed hockey and punk rock. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Beamish will be missed by his children, Isaac and Abigail; his sister Diane Edison; his nephew Daniel; his special great-niece Savannah; many cousins, especially Tommy, Anthony and Stanley; as well as a large circle of friends. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A Celebration of Beamish’s Life will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 6-8 pm.
