Obituary of William Alexander Driscoll
The death of William "Bill" Driscoll of the Kingston Peninsula occurred on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on January 27, 1962 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Wesley and Elizabeth (Smith) Driscoll. Bill loved fishing, hunting and was skilled at drawing. He enjoyed the times spent with those he loved and especially looked forward to his Friday night ritual of playing pool. Bill is survived by his sons, Wesley and Alex; siblings, Randy Driscoll of Toronto, Wendy Driscoll (Al) of the Kingston Peninsula, Eddie Driscoll (Stacey) of Saint John and Tammy McGuigan (Gary) of PEI; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to Darrell Johnston for all of his help during Bill's journey. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Susan Power and nephew, Chad Driscoll. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation, which will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Erb’s Cove Baptist Church and will immediately be followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place in Erb’s Cove Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Erb's Cove Baptist Church.
