Obituary of Peter Donald Raymond

The death of Peter Donald Raymond, husband of Glennis (Bland) Raymond, occurred unexpectedly on July 8, 2003, at his residence. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Donald and Ella (Powell) Raymond. He was employed for over 30 years with the City of Saint John, Department of Works, and was currently a foreman in the Western Office. He enjoyed fishing and camping and various sports. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters Jill, Karen and Erica, and was special Papa to his grandson Nicholas Donald. He is also survived by his sister Suzanne and her husband Gordon Parsons of Dartmouth, NS, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 11, 2003, at 11:00 AM, from St. Pius X Church, Somerset Street. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
