Obituary of Ada Irene Dingee
Ada Irene Dingee, wife of the late Archie Dingee, passed away peacefully at her residence in Pocologan on Friday, March 21, 2003 while being cared for by her daughters. Born in Rosebank, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Elizabeth (MacArthur) Ramsay. Ada was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who had dedicated her life to the care of her family and service to others, having been a member of the Jewel Rebekah Lodge, and a former secretary of the Pocologan Home and School Association. Survived by two daughters, Gail Kimm, her husband Randall of Fredericton, NB, Carol Dingee, her husband Ron Kolody of Vancouver, BC, grandson, Jeffery King, his wife Jody, and granddaughter, Lara Kolody. Also survived by two sisters, Ruth Horne of Burlington, Ontario, and Vera Rayner of Alberton, Prince Edward Island, as well as a dear friend Ethel Dingee, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Archie, four brothers, Vernon, Carlyle, Russell, Leland, and her parents. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with visitation on Monday, March 24, 2003 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at 2:15 p.m. followed by cremation.
