Obituary of Thelma Jean Clark
The death of Thelma Jean Clark, wife of the late Donald Clark, occurred on October 5, 2003, at the Gagetown Nursing Home. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late George and Bessie (Logan) Tower. She was a lifelong resident of Saint John and was employed in the Meat Department of the Dominion Stores and Save Easy before her retirement. She was a member of Portland United Church and was a member of the UCW. She was a hospital volunteer and a member of the Progressive Conservative Party. She is survived by her daughter Nina and her husband William Beyea of Hampton, her grandchildren Paul Beyea of Hampton and Liza and her husband Shane McGovern of Grand Bay-Westfield, and her sister-in-law Bertha Clark of Saint John. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2003, at 3:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Alzheimer's Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
