Obituary of Clair A. Parlee
The death of Clair A. Parlee, Anglin Drive, Saint John, NB, husband of Joan Marie (Hazelwood) Parlee, occurred on Wednesday, September 10, 2003, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Gagetown, NB, he was the son of the late George Parlee and Clara (Lasquie) Parlee. Mr. Parlee was a member of Main Street Baptist Church for many years. Clair was a loving and devoted family man who will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. Besides his wife Joan he is survived by four sons, Myron (Maria) Parlee, St. Catherine's, Ont., Myles (Sue) Parlee, Kingston Peninsula, NB, David Parlee, Halifax, NS, John (Crystal) Parlee, Hampton, NB, one daughter Wanda (Paul) Nelson, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, 12 grandchildren: Nathan Parlee, Andrew Parlee, Matthew Parlee, Jessica Parlee, Sarah Parlee, Tim Nelson, Aaron Parlee, Emily Nelson, Joshua Parlee, Caleb Parlee, Caitlin Parlee and Emma Parlee, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by step-brother Harrison Parlee and sister Ida Seelye. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service Monday, September 15, 2003 at 1:00 p.m., Brenan's Chapel. Interment to follow at a later date. Remembrances made to Canadian Red Cross, N. B. Lung Association or the North End Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
