Obituary of Russell Neil Belmore
The death of Russell Neil Belmore, of Dipper Harbour, NB, husband of Jean Blanche (Mailman) Belmore, occurred on Friday, July 11, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Dipper Harbour, NB, he was the son of the late Hanford and Ethel (Neil) Belmore. Mr. Belmore was employed with CNR Winterport for 27 years, before his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Betty Janes (Wayne) of Maces Bay, Linda Richard (Albert) of Quispamsis, Debbie Breau of Quispamsis, Sandra Muise (John) of Chance Harbour, Kathy Hewett of Saint John, Sherry Melanson (Vernon) of South Musquash, Russell Belmore of Dipper Harbour, Donald Belmore (Linda) of Chance Harbour and Ross Belmore of Chance Harbour, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Belmore of Saint John and Ethel Hamilton of Fredericton, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, William, Chesley, and Malcolm and sisters, Margaret Brooks, Helen Russell, Nellie Belmore and Jean Belmore. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 14, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment in the Chance Harbour Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
