Obituary of Janet Mary Halcrow
The death of Mrs. Janet Mary Halcrow, of 15 Deveber Terrace, Saint John, wife of Christopher C. Halcrow, occurred on Sunday, May 25, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bathurst, NB, on May 3, 1966, she was the daughter of William Power of Bathurst and the late Irene Power. Janet graduated from UNB, Fredericton and was a Teacher in School District # 18. Besides her husband and father, she is survived by her parents-in-law, Kevin and Sandra Halcrow, her children, Graham and Anna, both at home, sisters, Patricia Sweet (Robert) of Fredericton and Susan of Penticton, BC, brother-in-law, Andrew Halcrow of Abbottsford, BC, sister-in-law, Susan Redfern (Colin) of Vancouver, BC, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Sharon and one brother, Robert. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, Saint John Regional Hospital Department of Oncology or the Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated
