Obituary of Robert Keith Pettifer

The death of Robert “Bob” Pettifer of Saint John, NB occurred on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Warwickshire, England, son of the late Bernard and Voilet (Fennell) Pettifer. Bob traveled abroad and worked in a number of oil refineries, he loved fishing with his grandchildren, doing carpentry and enjoyed his family and friends. Survived by his wife, Anne (Shephard) Pettifer; one son, Andrew (Amy) Pettifer of Saint John; two daughters, Sonja (Paul) Amos and Natasha (Lloyd) Parks, both of Saint John; three brothers, Ron of Florenceville, Stephen and Reginald, both of Saint John; two sisters, Joan Payne of Saint John and Judith of Indiana; five grandchildren, Samantha, Azrielle, Kyra, Gabrielle and Nathan; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one grand-daughter, Sarah Amos. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506)634-7424 with visiting Friday, November 7, 2003, 1-2 pm and Funeral Service on Friday, November 7, 2003 at 2:15 pm. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery following the service. The family has requested no flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
