Obituary of Kathleen Darling Follett
The death of Kathleen Darling Follett, wife of the late Stanley Follett, occurred on October 21, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Kentville, NS, she was the daughter of the late Melbourne and Rose (Sabean) Langille. She was employed with Neilson Clearing House before her retirement. She was a life long member of St. John & St. Clements Mission Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her son Ted Follett and his wife Christine of Kentville, NS, her daughter Debi Welland and her husband Daniel of Saint John, her grandchildren Stephanie (Jason) McCullough, Heidi (Aaron) Whitebone, Serna McIllwraith, Kieran Welland and Katrina Welland, her great-grandchildren Michael, Brianna, Marion, Peter and Veronica and several nieces and nephews. Her sisters Dot, Shirley and Frances, her brothers Reginald, Ron, Avon and Theodore, her daughter-in-law Veronica Follett and her grandson Stephen Tippett predeceased her. Although there will be no visiting or funeral service, following cremation, family and friends will gather at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), on Monday at 10:15 AM to go in procession to Fernhill Cemetery for the Prayers of Committal at 11:00 AM. The family will welcome relatives and friends at their residence, 28 Albert Street, Saint John, during the evening hours. Following the interment the family will host a reception at their residence. Remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian cancer Society would be appreciated.
