Obituary of Ena Ruth Stymest
Ena Ruth Stymest , 81 of Saint John, NB, passed away quietly at Kennebec Manor on Thursday, October 30, 2003. Born in Innisfail, Alberta, she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Jennie I. (Foster) Mowry. Ruth worked at the Lantic Sugar Refinery. She was a member of the Buffalo Club, Legion #14, and the Seniors Center. Ruth is survived by three daughters, Donna Hartley (Danny), Pennfield, NB, Judy Chevrette, Toronto, Ont., and Carolyn Ferris (John), Saint John, NB., one son William (Billy) Watters, twelve grandchildren, Ricky, Kimberly, Sharon, Allan, Lawrence, Kenny, Georgette, Alice, Allan, Karla, Troy, and Jamie, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her first husband, Glendon Watters, second husband, William Stymest, one son Lawrence (Larry) Watters, two sisters, Lydia and Dorothy, and two brothers Theodore and Lawrence. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, 2-4, 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held in Brenan's Chapel on Monday, November 3, 2003, at 11:00 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer's Society or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
