Obituary of Lois Lenore Jury
The death of Mrs. Lois Lenore Jury of St. Martins, NB, formerly of Toronto, ON, wife of the late Jack Ward, occurred on Friday, March 21, 2003, in St. Martins, NB. Born in Galt, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Nora (O'Connor) DeMille. Lois was the Accounting and Credit Manager of Westbury Hotel in Ontario for 16 years, and was later employed at Grandmother's Nut Shop in Toronto, Leveres Candy Shop and Cineplex Odeon Theatre in the Eaton's Center, Toronto, before moving to St. Martins in 1997. She is survived by her children, Beverley Black of St. Martins, Dianne Schofield of Stoney Creek, ON, Douglas Jury of Stoney Creek, ON and James Jury of Hamilton, ON, one brother, Leslie DeMille of Arizona, two sisters, Ethel Rankin of Brantford, ON and Betty Clark of Mount Hope, ON, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, close friends, Emmeline and Paul Brisebois of Toronto, ON and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Lyle DeMille and one sister, Hazel Martin. By Mrs. Jury's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, interment will take place in North York Cemetery, Ontario. No flowers by request, remembrances to the Children's Wish Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
