My heart is broken on learning of the passing of your dear mother. I did not see her obituary in the newspaper as I knew her as Allana Addley. I met your Mom when I first moved to Brentwood 10 years ago and we took the same bus together. We hit it off and since then enjoyed many a bus ride to the uptown.
If there is anything I can help you with during this difficult time, please don't hesitate to ask. My phone number is 648-9771 and I live in #612.

Dear Tarra,
I am so sorry to read of your mother's passing. It's been so many years, but the impressions from our childhood are strong and her beauty, elegance, and style are indelible. Holy Week takes me back to crowded services at St. Stephen's Church, where you and your mother (and grandparents) had your usual place on the left side--my family on the right. I will remember your loved ones, your mother especially, in the rituals this week. Also I'm sending thoughts and prayers your way.
Love,
Ray
