Obituary of Arthur Warren Capson
It is with sadness we announce the death of a very loved and loving husband of Sylvia (McFarlane) Belyea Capson on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at his home at Loch Lomond Villa.
Art worked as an engraver/designer with Nelson and Kane Monuments for many years. He lived a full and happy life and enjoyed music, dancing and travelling. Art was a square dance caller and member of Park Avenue Fiddlers for many years. He was Anglican by faith.
Art is survived by his devoted wife, Sylvia; son, David (Kim); daughter, Judy (Owen); grandchildren, Angie (Faraley), Carlin (Alicia), Katrina, Devin and Quinn; great-grandchildren, Noah, Henry and Claire; sisters-in-law, Annie and Louise (Bob); nieces, nephews and many close friends. Art will also be missed by Sylvia’s family along with his family at the Loch Lomond Villa. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Hilda (Frost) Capson; his first wife, June; three brothers; two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
