Obituary of Donna Marie Jones

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donna Marie Jones announces her passing, which occurred on Friday, August 16, 2019 at her home. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Stanley “Tic” and Irene (Burhoe) Smith.

She will be missed by her daughter Sheri Mercer (Scott) and grandchildren Chelsey and Nathan Mercer. She is also survived by three sisters: Patricia Lavigne, June Miller, and Jane Ross; two brothers Fred and Gordon Smith.

Donna is predeceased by her parents, Stanley “Tic” and Irene, as well as two sisters Lillian and Joan.

Donna was an Avid Gardener and she enjoyed all of her pets.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, N.B. (634-7424). As per Donna’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
