Obituary of Olive Marie Leger-Howe
It is with great sadness that the family of Olive Leger-Howe, loving wife of the late Ivan Howe, announce her passing on Monday, December 2, 2019. Born in Moncton, NB on June 14, 1950,she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Olive Chandler.
Olive loved to sing and play the guitar. She loved uptown Saint John especially spending times at the King Street Tim Hortons. Olive was an avid wind chime collector (even hanging them inside her home!) as well as spending time inside the beautiful Cathedral. Most of all, Olive loved the times spent with her husband, Ivan. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Olive will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jennifer Howe and Sherryl Lanigan; sons, Eddy Connolly and Chris Brooks; step-children, Kim Muise, Tracey Howe, Sharron Stone, Ivan Howe Jr., John Howe and Rick Howe; sister, Ella Gogan; and brother, Frank Chandler.
In addition to her parents and husband, Olive was predeceased by her step-son, Billy Howe.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Rocmaura Nursing home for all their kindness and care shown to Olive during her time there. Their thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
