Lloyd and I became friends of Dot and Bill on May 2, 1967. On that very special evening, we all arrived at the Saint John Regional at the exact same time. Dot was ready to deliver Lorie and I was ready to deliver Amanda. My little girl came first at 10:43 the next morning and Lorie put in her appearance later that day. Dot and I shared the whole event. Same case room, same hospital room and we both had lovely little girls. We saw each other fairly often in the early years and I have never forgotten either Bill or Dot. I am saddened at his early passing and I send love and prayers to Dot and all of her family. LindaT

Bill was a member of the 97th Pennsylvania Volunteer Company 'A' Civil War Reenacting unit in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a delightful and funny addition to our unit. We looked forward to his arrival each year. His "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!!" shouts in formation and other events were looked forward too. I am sure he is in heaven Reenacting whichever side he wants. I am so saddened Dot to hear that Bill has passed. It was just weeks ago I briefly got to chat with you and him while home in Saint John. He was acutely intuitive to my activities so that it impressed me.
So much of my childhood memories involve Bill. Or should I say his antics. A garage packed with Army gear, him out for nightly runs, sometimes gone so long a search party was dispatched, stock piling NB tel computer cards, his love of not wasting one morsel of a good steak, and camping in that popup trailer at Greenacres. You and Bill will forever live next door in my heart. I wish you strength to built from a lifetime of good memories to continue being the wonderful person you are, a great neighbour for enjoying a cup of tea.
