I first meet James when I was attached to 1st Black Watch Battalion, He was into cooking then.Later when I was District Commissioner in Scouts Canada for the North End of Saint John I meet him again when he was a Scouter at St Pius Church in the North End of Saint John. Then I meet him again around 15 years ago, and he still had his compassion and was still into cooking for anyone who needed it. Through marriage Cecile and I got to know him and his Family, and will never forget him. God Bless it is
your turn to be catered too.

So sorry for your loss Michelle and family. Jim indeed was one of a kind. He always went way beyond for others with no expectations in return. When I was a single parent trying to support my family on my own he took my son Mark under his wing in the Boy Scout movement and even took him on a trip to Boston with the other scouts not knowing how the money was raised, but guessing he probably footed most of the cost. Like others have stated I went to many functions he cooked and catered to and the food was top notch. A man of strong faith and lived his life in witness as a true Christian. R I P Jim. Jim and Michelle were neighbors and good friends of our family. He offered to cook for my wedding after the loss of my dad. He wouldn’t take payment for it and simply said,“Family takes care of each other” People talked about the food for weeks afterwards. Jim was a generous and kind man, who always gave of his time and helped those he loved. Thinking of you all during this sad time.

As many will attest, Uncle Jimmy was the kind of man you could call at 2 in the morning and he'd be there in a flash, give you the shirt off his back and ride out a storm with you 'til the very end. When Jimmy entered a room, he was not merely a breath of fresh air, he was a gust of pure energy making any room come alive. We will all miss you Jim.

Uncle Jimmy was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back in a snow storm. Always there to lend a hand, cook a meal or share a laugh. A dedicate father and husband who will truly be missed.
