Obituary of Frank Joseph Powers

It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Joseph Powers Jr. announce his passing on Monday, December 23, 2019 at his residence. Born in Saint John, NB he was a son of the late Frank and Pearl (Lawrence) Powers.

In his earlier years, Frank was employed at the Saint John Shipyard as a pipefitter. He loved anything to do with the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends. He had a passion for corvettes and won a number of trophies for which he was so proud of. Frank also loved animals and his dog Harley will miss him greatly.

Frank is survived by his brothers, Mark Powers (Julie) of Australia and Troy Powers (Amy) of Saint John; as well as his extended family.

In addition to his parents, Frank was deceased by his beloved Denise.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Although there will be no visitation, a funeral service will take place on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel.
