My condolences to Charles, Robert, Shirley Floyd and the other family members. It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I mourn the loss of your Dad. He was such a friendly, kind, gentle soul, a trait which both he and your Mom shared and has passed on to each of you. I know my life was enriched by knowing such a wonderful human being.

Wendell was a humble and fun loving man. My memories of him are from his visits to Danvers in summer when he and Jean would come with the kids to visit Sadie, his mother-in-law. I remember him as a man who enjoyed teasing and being teased. It seemed that he would often set himself up to be teased. Sympathy and best wishes to you kids - you had good parents and much to appreciate in them.

So sorry for your loss Shirley, Robert, Floyd and Charles. Wendell and Jean were the salt of the earth and two of the kindest and most selfless people i ever met. I spent a lot of my childhood in the Peters home and will always remember them with love. Wendell was so loving and had a heart as big as all outdoors.. I cant remember a time he was not smiling or offering a helping hand to others in need. Wendell was the role model for goodness in the world. Remembering him with happy memories.

My condolences, prayers and strength to the whole Peters' family. I loved to visit when we all lived on Grandview Avenue, and it was always so nice to see them when they visited us when we moved to Baxter road.. We could always count on a big hug and lots of smiles and laughs from Wendell while Jean tried to keep him in line...
