Sincere condolences to the entire family. From my earlier days in the automotive industry in the late seventies, when I saw a fair amount of Roy, until the next century when I would only see him at trade fairs, it was always the warmth of the man, the smile, and the genuineness of the person I will remember.
He made every thing around him a good place to be.

It was Sunday November 24th 2019 Lobby Marriott ,Calgary Alberta. I noticed somebody peekabooing me from behind a small gathering of people and sure enough it was Roy happy to see me as always and I him. We chatted for a few moments and he asked are you going to the 107th Grey Cup game I replied no not this year tickets hard to come by......... and before I finish my sentence he reached his back pocket took out two tickets and says here take these, I replied I can't take your tickets ..... he says oh yes you can.
Later that afternoon we sat together at the game enjoying every minute of it.
Thanks again Roy
RIP
My sincere sympathies and condolences to his family and closest friends he will be missed

So very sorry to hear the news about Roy. Before Roy joined the ZPS team, I knew Roy only from a distance but certainly understood the influence and impact he had on the Automotive Aftermarket. He was one of a kind and his impact both personally and professionally will never be forgotten. Roy made an effort to get to know people, their families, and things that were important to them. Every month or so, he would send me an historical "tidbit" about my home town of Winnipeg, even when I lived in Toronto. I am blessed to have known him. My sympathies go out to his family.

Karen and I send our sincere condolences. I was shocked and deeply saddened to read the news this morning of Roy’s passing. May he rest in peace until we meet again.
Roy and I were friends for more than 40 years. It was a friendship that I cherished. I have so many fond memories of Roy that will stay with me forever. I remember when Jamie was born and how proud he was to become a Dad and the excitement of bringing her home. I remember our lunches at the diner on Rothesay Avenue, complete with an apple pie to share. Yes, the whole pie! I remember our basketball evenings in Moncton with the gang from the NAPA warehouse. When our daughter, Shannon was born Roy proudly said that we named her after him. Roy and I worked together on many functions, meetings, presentations, customer appreciation events and countless AIA industry events in Atlantic Canada. He was so talented and had great attention to detail. And we always had fun!
Roy and I raised a glass in many establishments and had many good laughs. It was always a great day when we were together. I am sure many others think likewise.
