My grandmother, Gretchen Finley, and Audrey were close friends throughout their married years and beyond. They travelled many years to Barbados together with their husband's. Audrey outlived Grammie by one year so both of them experienced a long life of love. The most special quality of Audrey I know is her devotion towards her friends ...she called Grammie almost every single day for countless years! Grammie truly appreciated her checking in and I would often hear them sharing a laugh or two. Audrey had a wonderful memory well into her nineties and had so many stories to share. I was also blessed to know such a caring woman. Jesus Christ made the way possible for everyone who believes in him to have assurance of eternal life even after death & I passed this amazing news along to Audrey...see you one day Audrey chatting with Gretchen once again!

I trained under Frank Wanamaker in 1980. As a new Gynecologist in 1984 Frank was a mentor and friend. Audrey was part of the package and supervised Frank’s OR assist schedule. We were never allowed to work him too hard! Audrey would entertain Us all on Pelton Rd from time to time. Audrey was a great lady and will be remembered with affection!

I am deeply sadden by Audrey's passing. I have lost a dear friend. My life is better for having known her and she will be forever in my heart. I will always remember what a kind, open minded ,strong woman she was. My condolences to her children, grandchildren and the rest of her family. I know she was dearly loved and she always talked about her family during our visits. It was obvious how much she loved everyone. May you find comfort in all of your fond memories of her. God bless .

Jean ~ we graduated from Saint John High but I think we first met at the Barnhill School skating rink when my late Dad looked after the rink. After reading your mother`s obit, I think our mothers trained together at the Saint John Hospital School of Nursing. I believe my mother graduated from there in 1939. Sorry to read of your mother`s passing. Sincerely.
