Obituary of Peter George Beshara
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Peter Beshara of Saint John, beloved husband of the late Marion (Harrison) Beshara, announce his passing which occurred on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on March 27, 1947 in Saint John, he was a son of the late Peter and Lois (Ferris) Beshara.
Peter and Marion devoted their lives to caring for those in need. They especially took great comfort in opening their home to fostering over one hundred children throughout the years. In his younger years, Peter enjoyed attending dances and loved dancing the night away with Marion. Peter was a huge fan of HGTV, was an avid reader and a lover of music. The world has undoubtedly lost a great man.
Peter will be lovingly remembered by his children, Deborah Beshara of Saint John, Christopher Beshara of Ontario and Doug Dupuis (Denise) of Saint John; precious grandchildren, Emilyann and Kyle Edison; brother, John Beshara of Montreal; dear friends, Rob and Charlene Chiasson; along with nephews and nieces. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brothers, Charles, David and Thomas; as well as his sisters, Linda, Sharon, Dianna “Deedee” and Shirley Ann.
Due to the current health advisories, all services will be held privately. However, the servcie will be webcasted for those wanting to watch from home.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
