Please send our heart-felt condolences to the Families. We loved Jeanne and Doris very much. A very big loss for everyone.
Jeanne and her sister Doris were exceptional tender, loving, and very gentle people. It was so nice being around them, they reminded me of Angels, my very own.
Mom and I and previously even my dad, visited Doris often and saw also a lot of Jeanne too and some of their families over the years. Many of my friends have met them too, and liked them as much as I did, and even my son Silvain met the family chasing fireflies with all the kids holding little glass jars, running in the grass. Dad thought the world of Doris, and him and mom visited whenever they could.
Doris looked after her dad, and her mom too, and then Ellen looked after her mom Jeanne and then had both Jeanne and Doris to look after. They had an Exceptional Family, and I have never met anyone like them before, I loved them truly.
The last time I saw Doris was on her Birthday just before she passed on, and I was devastated when I heard, and now Jeanne. This world has lost two of the most beautiful people ever in this world, and I am truly sorry.

Condolences to Jeanne's family. Thank you Ellen for the years of good care. Jeanne was always a gentle soul who shared what she had with others. I will miss my cousin and remember her with love. My early days with Gerald, Jeanne and Doris at Chance Harbour are some of my happiest memories. In recent years we treasure our walks on the beach with Jeanne.

It seems all my life I have known the Mawhinney and Belding families. To each of you I wish to extend my sincere sympathy at your loss of Jeanne. I have fond memories of her especially at the Maces Bay church. I still have a cassette she recorded of one of the services. When she duplicated it for Dad, there was a sonorous "Meow" contributed during the re-recording. We laughed so often at it and it is one of my treasured possessions. I know that Jeanne is worshipping the Saviour she loved with those who have gone before. I hope you find comfort in her faith and the precious memories you have.

I remember well meeting and chatting with your Mom and Doris walking across the beach. I'm sure they have found one another and a beach to walk on with Jesus.
May the memory of her beautiful soul help you all find strength and peace.
Sincere condolences,

To all of Jeanne's family:
Sincere condolences at this sad time. I graduated from Voc with Jeanne in 1948 and remember her so well as the quiet girl from Chance Harbour. We had a mutual friend, Helen (Donahue) Carlson, who I believe maintained her friendship with Jeanne over the years and she used to keep me up to date with Jeanne's news.
Again, heartfelt sympathy.
Love and prayers. NORMA

To the Family of Jeanne....although I had never met her, I am sure we are related somewhere down the line. My grandmother was Melvina (Belding) Toner, married to Alfred Toner my grandfather. I remember many trips with my dad Alfred Belding Toner, to Chance Harbour. I do remember he would visit an aunt with the last name of Tiner, whose first name escapes me. I was always in awe of her very long white hair. Also many trips to Clyde and Dot Beldings house. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

Please accept my deepest sympathies with the passing of Jeanne. My mother, Helen Carlson, and she were the best of friends over their lifetimes. I was named for Jeanne so she was always special to me also. She was a lovely person, and it's nice to see such lovely pictures showing her beautiful smile and kind face. Our memories of her will last a lifetime.
